Recently introduced at the Scottish Gliding Centre, the 'Learn to Glide' package is a fantastic way to
experience how a gliding club operates with all the benifits of full membership for an
introductory period of three months - saving over £35 on the first year's membership.
The package includes,
It usually takes between 60-100 flights to go solo, so this package could send you well on your way to becoming a fully fledged glider pilot. During this time, you are likely to accumulate around 5 hours flying time; more if you have the good fortune to enjoy some lengthy soaring flights.
When your flying credit has been used up simply top-up your account to cover flying fees as they arise (see tariff). At the end of the three months you can then join the club as a full member and continue to fly, saving over £35.
The 'Learn to Glide' Package costs just £250 and you can buy one for yourself or as a present for someone else.
You can BUY ON-LINE NOW or alternatively, you can purchase by post.
Please send your cheque made out to 'The Scottish Gliding Centre' to:-
along with the name of the person for whom the package is being purchased, and the name and address to which it is to be sent.

|* Under current legislation you need to be at least 14 years of age to fly solo. It is probably not worthwhile learning to fly until you are about 13 years old so that you will not get to solo level too long before you can legally fly. If you are under the age of 18 you will need your parent's permission. If you are uncertain or want to discuss things first please contact the club for further information.|
